Guy Borak


Guy Borak has been in the insurance industry since 1990 after 9 years in the Animal Feed Business (the last 3 as an owner). Guy has a degree in Economics from CSULB where he also played Water Polo. He also has a LUTCF in Personal Estate & Retirement Planning which he completed in 1994 (this is a 3 Year Program). Guy has been married for over 30 years and has 4 children, 2 grandkids, and many extended family members. Guys favorite hobby is spending all his free time with his family.

Ryan Joseph Borak

Vice President

Ryan Borak is a Graduate of the University of Redlands where he played Basketball and studied Environmental Business. He is a Third Generation Insurance Broker and is eager to bring energy and optimism to the YLIS team. Along with his current Licenses he has also acquired his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) Designation to bring further value to the agency. Ryan is Passionate about his growth in the Industry and developing greater interpersonal relationships to share with his prospects, clients, and friends alike.

My name is Adrian Jimenez. My current position is Personal Lines Account Manager for Yorba Linda Insurance Services since 2006. I previously worked as an Insurance Service Specialist at AAA for over 5 years. I then managed the Personal Lines Department at Valley Insurance Services for over 22 years. I have over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry.

My goal is to always put the customer first & foremost! With my experience & resources, I am able to find the best insurance market to meet my customers’ needs. I look forward to helping you!

Tiana Kentera

Customer Service Representative

Tiana began her career in the insurance industry in 2014. Born and raised in Orange County, CA Tiana attended Aliso Niguel High School Class of 2007 and Saddleback College studying psychology and health sciences. She followed her parents’ footsteps working in the hospitality industry for 10+ years before she began managing a local Farmers Insurance Agency in Laguna Niguel, CA with the McFarland’s in 2014 and obtained her insurance license in 2015. Tiana is passionate about helping others and after a few years working directly for a carrier, Tiana and The McFarland’s decided it was time to start working directly for people and not a corporation. In 2017 Tiana and the McFarland’s left Farmers Insurance and joined Yorba Linda Insurance Services. Tiana works directly with Marcene McFarland as a Broker and CSR on small to large-sized commercial accounts.

Michelle Lomuscio Choan

Michelle has been in the Insurance Industry for 25 years. Born and raised in Whittier, CA she attended St. Paul High School (Class of ‘89’). She then attended CSU Long Beach where she was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and graduated in 1993 with a Business Finance Degree. Since obtaining her Insurance License in 1996 and her Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) Designation from the American College in 1998, she spent over a decade working in the Insurance Division for a national bank as well as several insurance carriers including New York Life and Aetna working with other brokers and employer groups as a Group Health Account Manager. Eventually bringing this extensive knowledge and expertise of Employee Benefits over to YLIS in 2009, Michelle has successfully helped create and currently co-manages the Benefits Department at YLIS with her continued focus on both large and small Employer Group Benefit needs.

Marcene McFarland

Commercial Broker

Marcene has a passion in being a champion for her Commercial Insurance clients. Her successfully proven track record in Workers Compensation (WC) and Human Resources (HR) cases provides a unique set of skills and expertise which sets her apart from other professionals in her industry.

Upon graduating from USC with a degree in Business Administration, she found success for 12 years in the Employee Leasing industry by helping her clients save time and money on their non-productive, administrative expenses such as, payroll, benefits, pensions, Human Resources Staffing and Workers Compensation.

Her track record of reducing expenses and increasing profits led her to a leadership position with K-Med, a Claims Management and Cost Reduction Company that assisted physicians in establishing enhanced lines of communication with the Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster.

After 5 years with K-Med she was able to actualize her passion for the insurance industry by becoming an agent with The Farmers Insurance Group. While at Farmers Insurance, she fine tuned her commercial insurance skills and expertise, serving her clients needs with general and professional liabilities, employment practices, workers compensation and property.

Currently, Marcene is fulfilling her passion of being a champion for her Commercial Insurance Clients as an Agent with Yorba Linda Insurance Services, Inc. Elizabeth Tabesh-Thomas

Elizabeth has been in the Insurance Industry and a California Agent since 1989. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA she attended St. Paul High School. She has spent over three decades working in the Insurance industry for Insurance Carriers and General Agencies. Levering herself in business and her sales knowledge as well as her interest in the healthcare field. Elizabeth started as a bilingual (translator) for a Third Party Administrator (TPA) and quickly was sponsored for a Health and Life license. Her career has been spent working with other brokers and employer groups as a Group Health “Key” Account Manager. She has helped to not only sell policies but also assisted policyholders understand their new policies, provide info on claims, and explain different features of insurance plans. She meets with employer groups throughout the year to determine their current needs.

Eventually bringing this extensive knowledge and expertise of Employee Benefits YLIS since 2007, Elizabeth has successfully helped create and currently, she is co-managing the Benefits Department at YLIS with her continued focus on both large and small Employer Group Benefit needs.
